This house was built with a typical early 20^th century Oporto typology in 1930 in one of the best residential neighborhoods in the city. It was totally intervened and had a project of architecture and interior design by Ding Dong. It was thought of as a “Surprise Box” with a masculine, fun and very eclectic spirit, like the new owner. It’s like a narrative that unfolds itself throughout the different spaces of the house surprising and involving us. We sought a very relaxed and comfortable environment where we play with the mixture of materials and colors for an “out of the box” result, designed without prejudice and with a great freedom.
