LOCATION
Estoril, Portugal

The Festa das Mesas, an event organized by Carlos Pissarra of Estoril For Press, brought together a group of 12 decorators for a dinner where each one created its own environment with its own guests. This event took place in the Great Hall of the Hotel Palácio do Estoril.

A mix of travels, stories, flavors, experiences, aromas, colors, faces. All this is the result of a trip. But when this journey – or any journey – is over there’s an equally striking and interesting moment: the new story that comes from telling that very trip to someone who is close to us, to someone who is special to us…

And will there be a space or context more particular for this evocation of a past – but still so present and impactful – trip as the meeting of a group of people around a table to talk, to remember and simultaneously to create new landscapes, new experiences and new trips?

In short and quoting Bernardo Soares “Life is what we make of it. The trips are the travelers. What we see is not what we see, but what we are.”
